Dear Karen and Staff

Thank you so much for helping me and my family have such a wonderful time in Belize! Every part of this vacation was amazing.

The wonderful view from our villa, the delicious chocolate chip cookies, the impeccable cleanliness of the house, the beautiful flowers, the super delicious food and most of all your kindness and hospitality, making us all feel at home!

All of the excursions you helped us experience were breathtaking! We loved the kayaking and the Black Hole Drop – which we will never forget!

Hope to see you sometime soon with the rest of the family!

Trip Review - Arizona, USA - JD and Raelean - Oct 2008

Absolutely fantastic!! We will recommend the Jungle Dome and Belize to family and friends. There is no question that if I didn’t have prior commitments (same family and friends listed above and a job) then I would stay here and work!!

The people here are kind, the weather is fantastic and the food is fantastic. My wife and I are here on our honeymoon and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate.

Oh yeah, also the ATM cave tour is a must. Of the adventures we did (Black Hole Drop, Cave Tubing, Zip Line, Kayaking) the ATM was far and away the most amazing.

My Trip Review - Peachtree City, Georgia, USA - Eric and Susan Snell - August 2008

We decided this year to make our anniversary trip an adventure. The Jungle Dome and its staff made our home away from home a great place. We have had a fantastic week. Coming at this time of year was great because in most cases our activities were simply us and our guide.

Black Hole Drop – start with a bang! A great hike, great rappel and beautiful scenery (a wonderful introduction to the jungle)

Cave Tubing – Luis showed us all the plants and unlike all the other groups, we floated at our own pace

Zip Line – A fun experience which unfortunately ended too soon

ATM – what an amazing trip! First swimming in among the cave was neat but then to be able to see and admire such a beautiful place. Francisco did a great job explaining what occurred and what they think happened in such a sacred place.

Horseback Riding – it was a pleasure to actually run the horses and learn from Cesar.

Massage – Susan enjoyed this brief respite from the jungle

Mountain Bike ride – Eric rode with David to Valley of Peace and back – ahhh forgot how tough riding off road on loose gravel is

Che Chem Ha cave – what an amazing cave and to be escorted by William , the guy who found it. Amazing that places like these are all around.

Kayaking – We enjoyed the botany education from Link but the ride was not quite the adventure we expected

Caracol – ahh the Mayan ruins you read about. Amazing to see the buildings the Mayans made so long ago

Keep the bug spray bottle full, know that 95% of the roads are bumpy, enjoy the adventures and absorb the Belizean culture, life and people.

Belize Trip Review Michigan, USA - Kevin and Chele Green - December 2007

Wow! The trip of a lifetime!!

Thank you Karen and staff at the Jungle Dome for the unforgettable experiences. We started our 6 year anniversary trip in San Pedro where we snorkeled until our hearts were content ~ 4 days of back to back water adventures.

The inland Belize tours were the most breathtaking. We started by visiting Xunantunich and kayaking on the Mopan River with our guide Henry. Then off to the Black Hole Drop – what a gorgeous hike through the mountainous rainforest. If our legs weren’t sore enough next we traversed the Actun Tunichil Muknal water cave where we conquered our fears of heights & claustrophobia. Lastly we were awestruck by the Tikal Mayan Temples. How Magnificent!

We finished our tour of duty with a horseback ride and ziplining our way back to the USA

Belize Trip Review

From horseback riding to kayaking to zip lining (and getting my hair stuck during the zip line), staying at the Jungle Dome never left me a dull moment! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay and especially all the wonderful food. This trip was great and hopefully I will be able to persuade my family to visit Belize soon.

Thanks again,

Belize was amazing...unreal...THE BEST vacation I have ever been on Carrie Dallhoff - Baltimore, USA - May 2007

Belize Trip Review - Carrie Dallhoff - Baltimore, USA

We always like to get guest feedback. This review from a recent Jungle Dome guest is interesting and gives a great feel for the type of Belize Vacations we offer.

"Our trip to Belize was amazing...unreal...with out a doubt THE BEST vacation I have ever been on......

.......We drive on one of the 3 paved roads in Belize for a good 40 min and then turn onto a very bumpy dirt road where we drove for another 20 min or so, until we ended at the Dome which was right next to and across the street from a Equestrian Farm (I was in heaven)......

.......The Dome (
Belize Jungle Dome) is more of a bed/dinner/breakfast place, where everyone sits with everyone else and enjoys home cooked Belizean breakfast in the morning, then goes off to do some excursion or another and then we all come back and have dinner together. It was awesome......

......Here is the part where I am sure you will say..."like that really happened" well it did.......Henry is staying on his kayak so that the bull won't be able to kick him or step on his feet and break any bones. So he goes about trying to untangle him when a caballero comes down on a horse by the water to help. Every few min the bull tries to get out but he is so tangled that he can't. Henry is breaking vines with his bare hands and finally with a little help from the cowboy they get him untangled, but he is still to tired to make it up the embankment.....

.......In Belize in general, you didn't leave your room to even walk to the pool without sweating. It was unreal how hot it was all the time........

........I had the probably the best time of the trip at the Jungle Dome and would go back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend it to everyone!......"

Belize Guest comments from Verghese Family, Washington DC, USA - May 2007

To Everyone at the Jungle Dome

Thank you all for making this jungle spot into a place where we could make friends instantly over dinner. We shared our outings with others we met at the Dome and felt we were on vacation with extended family.

From the moment we met David at the airport we felt we had come to a special place and the feeling only grew all the time we were here.

Luis did a great job explaining Mayan culture to us during cave tubing and at Caracol and his knowledge of the botany in Belize was inspirational. I wish I could know so much. The two Henrys did a great kayaking trip with the younger Henry being very patient with a city family!

It has been a pleasure to get to know the other guests and was easy to like people who appreciated Belize and the Jungle Dome as much as we did.

Ocean Kayaking to the Reef in Belize

Belize Trip review from Jennie & Matthew, Boiling Springs, Carlisle, PA, USA

The Jungle Dome Family is so fantastic!!

Always there to help you with anything you can desire. And the food….yum!!! I thought I’d chronicle our days here with the favorite things of the day:

  1. Trip 1: Kayaking….A beautiful and relaxing first day. Of course, we did have some excitement…men were shooting iguana out of the trees to eat! Our guide was very informative with info from Trumpet trees to tasting all spice leaves from a tree along the way

  2. Trip 2: Zip Line & Cave Tubing….a cool and cloudy day today….zip lining was incredible, then we took a walk through the jungle on our way to the cave. Make sure to take your checklist:

    • 1. Eat Sugar Cane

    • 2. Dine on a Termite or 2

    • 3. Careful not to step on the Leaf Cutter Ants

    • 4. Poke a Tarantula in its hole

    • 5. Relax as you float down a lazy river

    • 6. Come home and have dinner with your new extended family

  3. Trip 3: Black Hole Drop….Amazing, amazing, amazing. Beautiful albeit tough hike, loved the rappelling and did I mention…amazing?

  4. Trip 4: ATM cave….wow what a way to end our time here!

Thank you so much for sharing your kindness. The staff is so wonderful and pleasant. You’ve truly put a slice of the good life smack dab in the middle of the jungle.
