Andy, Simone, David, Nora, Wanni, Lucas, Aidan, and the rest of the staff; What an amazing 4 days! Everything was so much fun, and the guides were so well-informed, it is hard to pick a favorite.
The first day we went to the Xunantunich Mayan site; quite interesting, with Junior as our guide;
Then on to the Iguana Park.
Next day was to Cave’s Branch tubing, as we floated through limestone cave, and then down a gentle river with Fernando.
The next day to Caracol Mayan ruins, Rio Frio Cave, and Rio on waterfalls and swimming area with Bruce.
Every day was new and exciting, and our room was always clean when we got back, besides an excellent breakfast and dinner every day. Your staff is what made it so special.
On day one at the airport we met David, and he drove us every day and become a good friend to us. He was great company and an amazing young man.
Best of luck to you all! Hope to see you again. This trip was for a 50th anniversary and Simone (as busy as she is) even remembered, and made us a card. What a group!

Dear Jungle Dome team,
Many thanks for an amazing introduction to Belize over the past 5 days, from the pick-up at the airport and trip to the zoo, and throughout the action-packed few days, I’ve had a great time experiencing a variety of activities, including my first ever horse ride and the beautiful ATM caves.
At the end of each adventure, it has been wonderful to have that feeling of coming ‘home’ to the Jungle Dome, and being made to feel part of the family, with lovely home-cooked meals, a comfy, homely room, and great conversations.
Thanks for the tips and advice, I am sure I will use in San Pedro in the coming days. You have a lovely place, and I will definitely recommend it to anyone coming out here.

Belize Jungle Dome is AWESOME! David, our caretaker, has been amazing! He is full of knowledge about the sights we’ve asked him about. He is so interesting to talk to.
The meals have been very convenient, especially since we were over Easter weekend, when most restaurants have been closed. The pool is a refreshing break when we get back from our tours.
Make sure you do the cave tubing/zip-lining. St. Herman’s cave and the Blue Hole is an interesting side trip. Tomorrow we head to Mountain Pine Ridge and the, sadly, we have to leave the Jungle Dome, and head to San Ignacio.
We’ll always remember our stay here, and how welcome David made us feel. I plan on writing a fantastic TripAdvisor review!

The Jungle Dome was awesome! We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was great and the food was amazing. Our guide David was really nice, and Lucas was fun to be around too. Everyone here is so nice (including the dogs), we will definitely write a review about the Dome on TripAdvisor.
Thanks for everything,

Dear Jungle Dome family,
This has been a home away from home…Simone, Andy, their kids, David, Marina, Tella, Wani, and all the crew, thanks to all of you for your hospitality, delicious food, cozy apartment, incredible spirit and beautiful energy.
I just leave my heart in Belize. I had, not only, a great time and amazing vacation, I also learned so much about the culture, history, and traditions.
God bless you!
Love and peace, Claudia

Trip Review - British Columbia, Canada - Beverley Poleschuk - March 2008
This was my second trip to Belize, and my second stay at the Jungle Dome! This time I brought the whole family, (two adults and 5 kids) and what a wonderful time we had!
The resort is small, quiet and quaint, and situated in a perfect spot for reasonably quick access to all the jungle type tours. A perfect place to come "home" to after a day of touring.
The rooms are very spacious and clean, the staff is super friendly, and the food is fantastic! Everything made from scratch and lots of it! My "kids", ages 15-29, are still talking about the food!
Must do tours: The Black Hole drop, The ATM caving tour and the Cave tubing. Wouldn't recommend the Zipline. I didn't think it was good value for the money....but then if you've ever done the Zipline in Whistler, B.C., Canada, it's really hard to find something that will compare to that!
All in all, a fabulous trip thanks in a very large part to the Jungle Dome and their great staff!!

My wife Deb and I wanted to share with you how much we loved our stay at the Jungle Dome. It was the perfect base from which to stage our local adventures. And we got our fill in a short time, thanks to Karen's considered pairing of guides and guests.
What a rare find Luis is. Here is a guide who clearly knows his country, and continues his self-education while giving measured doses of what he knows, without any of the Disney fluff. We had several great excursions with him. About two minutes out of the Dome on day one he rounded up the tarantula pictured below, explaining how to hold them so nobody and nothing gets harmed. Thanks, Luis, we'll just have a look.
The entire staff made us feel at home during the time we spent at the Dome, which it turns out wasn't a whole lot. As you must know, it's strategically located for some of the most dramatic adventures to be had in Belize.
We noted how folks situated in other parts of the country suffered considerably more daunting treks to get to the same spots we enjoyed with relative ease. Coming back to the Dome for a swim and a great meal was the daily reward for the physical challenges we signed up for.
Thanks again for providing this great home base/haven from which to enjoy the natural wonders of Belize. And do pass on our thanks to Karen, David, Wani (I'm guessing there) and the rest of the staff, as well as the now famous Luis (saw him, as well as William from Che Chem Ha, on the History Channel), and Eddie from next door. They made for one stellar crew.

PS: About the only thing I regret is not having purchased a great, waterproof camera before the trip. We missed countless photographic opportunities because of the daunting conditions constantly threatening an ordinary digital camera. Tell future voyagers they might want to splurge, at least on a waterproof throw-away
Belize Trip Review - Ontario, Canada - Barbara Clumpus - March 2008
My second visit to the Jungle Dome, this time with my daughter Jodi and grandson Alex. How wonderful to relive an incredible adventure through my grandson’s 10 year old eyes! Once again the staff treated us like extended family ~ hospitality superb and the meals wonderful. Luis was a fabulous guide, always up for something different on our adventures together ~ and as a result we found the ‘real’ crystal cave on the river tubing trip! A 45 minute trip ended up taking 3 hours! Very awe-inspiring and great fun! Thanks so much Karen, Andy, David and all staff. We enjoyed our family holiday immensely.

Wow! The trip of a lifetime!!
Thank you Karen and staff at the Jungle Dome for the unforgettable experiences. We started our 6 year anniversary trip in San Pedro where we snorkeled until our hearts were content ~ 4 days of back to back water adventures.

To Everyone at the Jungle Dome
Thank you so much for the amazing jungle experience. Everything was so well organized and the staff so helpful the only thing we had to do was enjoy everything. And that we did! Every excursion was incredible (especially Tikal & ATM Caves) the food excellent and the hospitality can not be beat! Four days are not enough.
Thank you for a marvelous time. We wish we had another 8 days here. All of the guides for our trips were awesome with special note to Louis. His portrayal of the human side of the Maya people really put things into perspective.
When we were planning this trip, 4 nights sounded like plenty of time to spend here. Now that it’s time to fly home tomorrow, we certainly wish we had more time here. Everything about this vacation has been fantastic. Each of the tours we took were excellent.
Manuel was a great guide for the ATM trip and a special treat was that the archaeologist (his uncle) was leading a group of students through the cave that day so we got to listen in on his lecture as well. Carlos was our guide for both Caracol and cave tubing. He was so fun and friendly and obviously has a genuine interest in what he is doing. He is so knowledgeable about local history, plants, animals, etc. Thanks to Carlos we got to taste both sugar cane and termites today.
Aside from the tours, everyone at the Jungle Dome is just wonderful. It felt more like visiting friends and family than staying at a resort. Having dinner and sharing the great food and stories with other guests was a great way to end the days.
When we were planning this trip, I think I read a review on Tripadvisor from a guest who said that if you stayed here you would be planning your next trip here before you even left…they were right!
Thanks to everyone here for a very memorable trip!

I want to thank you all for helping make our trip to Belize so wonderful. I really appreciated your kindness in making us feel at home. I have some fabulous memories of visiting Belize and thanks again for helping in that. My favorite adventure trip was to the CheChem Ha caves. It was so cool hiking through the jungle and ending up in a pitch dark cave with a headlamp on my head. Way cool!
