From the ancient Mayan Ruins of Tikal and Xunantunich to our world renowned Reef system, spend the day observing the gentle giants of the sea: The Manatees. Swim with Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays. Embark on a Jungle Adventure from the safety of a Horseback Ride and get to know the 'real' people of Belize along the way. This really is a trip of a lifetime!
Day 1 : We will meet you at the Municipal or International Airport and transfer you to our Jungle Resort. Optional visit to the Belize Zoo on the way.
Day 2 : Tour west including hiking the wondrous limestone cave of Che Chem Ha featuring enormous Maya pottery, untouched for thousands of years. Lunch and then on to visit Xunantunich, a major Maya site of Belize.
Day 3 : A River Cave Tubing adventure introduces you to another aspect of the Mayan culture and you will be awed at the crystalline formations, beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, and the very immensity of the cave itself.
Day 4 : Early Breakfast. Depart for a day trip to Guatemala to visit Tikal Mayan Temples, the Great Dame, your English-speaking guide will enlighten you on one of the most spectacular Maya sites constructed. Five major temples around 150 - 210 ft. high built around 700 AD. Walking tour lasts 4-5 hours. Return to Belize Jungle Dome for dinner.
Day 5 : An Early morning Jungle Horseback Riding Adventure. Lunch and then a Belize River Trip or local 9 Hole Golf Course (equipment included).
Day 6 : Breakfast and then a transfer to San Pedro. Snorkeling at Shark/Ray Alley where you can swim with the Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays.
